BridjAi is a local-first Windows app. Original files, generated source copies, notes, and finished knowledge folders are read and written on your computer. This website does not receive, store, or process the project files you use in the app.

The website records alpha signups and download-access status in Supabase. Supabase also handles passwordless email sign-in. The signup form is submitted to Netlify Forms as a best-effort operational backup.

The alpha signup form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce automated abuse. The server validates the Turnstile token before recording signup access. The website also applies rate limits using short-lived keyed hashes of signup email and request origin rather than storing raw IP addresses only for rate limiting.

When an entitled user requests a release, the website records a limited download audit containing the account, release, platform, and request time. The temporary storage URL itself is not stored in that audit record.

AI analysis inside the app uses keys you provide and configure yourself. To map added files into topics, BridjAi may send short excerpts from files that are not yet sorted into topics. Close analysis sends only content from files you select: extracted text, standalone images, and rendered page or slide images. Source-backed notes and claims may then go to the configured synthesis service. That traffic goes directly from your computer to OpenAI or, when you choose it for synthesis, Anthropic. It does not pass through this website. BridjAi does not send original document containers such as DOCX or PDF, but selected standalone image files are sent for visual analysis. Any transmitted content can contain confidential or personal information.

On Windows, keys saved through BridjAi are encrypted for the current Windows user. Older BridjAi and Nest key fields are migrated into that protected storage and removed. Keys supplied outside BridjAi Settings are controlled by their original storage and BridjAi cannot confirm their protection.

OpenAI analysis requests use store: false, which prevents response storage as application state. OpenAI may still retain limited abuse-monitoring data according to the account's data controls and its current terms. Other configured AI services apply their own terms and retention settings.

BridjAi uses the Documents location assigned to your Windows account. If Windows redirects that location to OneDrive or another synced folder, your source copies and generated folders may be synced under that service's settings.

BridjAi must never place API keys, local file paths, document content, extracted text, or generated project summaries into website signup or download records.
